Supporting the skills underneath everyday moments
A child’s “occupation” is play, feeding, moving, sleeping and connecting. Occupational therapy supports the skills and systems underneath those everyday moments.
When something feels hard — feeds are a struggle, tummy time ends in tears, bedtime is a battle, or school feels overwhelming — your child isn’t being difficult. Their body and nervous system are telling us something. My job is to help you understand what that is, and what will help.
I look at the whole child: how they move, how their body feels, how they take in the world around them, and how connected and regulated they feel. Then we build a plan that fits your child and your family — no rigid protocols, no one-size-fits-all.
Your baby isn’t broken — and neither are you.
Occupational therapy services
Baby Development
Support for tummy time, rolling, sitting, crawling, pulling to stand and walking. We look at why a skill feels hard — body tension, a head-turn preference, low tone or a retained reflex — and use gentle, play-based activities to help your baby move with ease. No propping, no rushing milestones.
Feeding, Oral Motor & Tongue Function
Clicking, a shallow latch, long or frustrating feeds, spit-up and discomfort can all have a functional root. I assess body tension, positioning, and tongue, lip and cheek function — looking at function, not just appearance. Support includes oral motor activities, positioning, pre- and post-release support if a tongue-tie release is being considered, and gentle guidance for starting solids. This support can also be part of an osteopathy session.
Sensory Processing & Regulation
Some children feel everything a little louder: noise, clothing, textures, movement, busy rooms. I look at how your child takes in and responds to information across all eight sensory systems, then give you practical, doable ways to help their nervous system feel safe and regulated at home.
Primitive Reflex Integration
Primitive reflexes are the building blocks of movement. When some stick around longer than expected, they can affect balance, coordination, attention, emotional regulation and learning readiness. I identify which reflexes may be retained and give you simple, movement-based play to do together at home.
Holistic Sleep Support
Education and consulting for responsive, science-informed sleep — never sleep training. We look at the roots of night wakings and short naps: physical comfort, sensory needs, developmental stage and connection. Whether you breastfeed, bottle-feed, co-sleep or use a separate space, we build a plan that fits your family and feels good in your heart. Outside Ontario? Sleep support is available as a parent consultation through Virtual Support.
Daycare & School Support
For children who find it hard to sit, focus, write, organize, regulate or connect with friends. Support can include classroom observations, school consultations, personalized teacher recommendations and educator workshops.
You don’t have to choose
Occupational Therapy
Focuses on skills and function — how your child moves, feeds, plays, processes the world and regulates.
Manual Osteopathy
Focuses on the body itself, including craniosacral work — gently releasing tension and restrictions that can get in the way of those skills.
Many families benefit from both, and I often weave them together in one session. Not sure where to start? Book a free Right Fit Call and we’ll figure it out together.
What to expect
Connect
We start with your story: birth, feeding, sleep, development, and what feels hardest right now.
Observe & assess
I watch your child move and play, and gently assess body, reflexes, sensory responses and oral function as needed.
Support in session
Play-based therapy tailored to your child, led by their cues.
Take-home plan
A few clear, doable activities to fit into your day. No overwhelming lists.
You know your child best. My role is to help you connect the dots and feel confident in your instincts.

Pediatric Occupational Therapist · Manual Osteopathic Therapist · Infant Craniosacral Therapist
I’ve been a pediatric occupational therapist for 19 years, with additional training in infant sleep, reflux, tongue function and craniosacral therapy. I’m curious and thorough, and I don’t stop at the surface — I want to know why something is hard for your child.
I started this practice in my own early days of motherhood, wanting other mamas to feel less alone and more confident in their instincts. That’s still at the heart of every session.

Frequently asked questions
What ages do you see for OT?
Babies, toddlers and young children — most families come in the first three years, and I support children up to about age 6.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. Some insurance plans ask for one, so check with your provider.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes, whatever your little one needs to feel settled (feeding, a favourite toy), and any questions on your mind.
Is virtual OT really helpful?
Yes, for families living in Ontario. Many concerns — sleep, sensory, development, reflexes — are well supported virtually, since so much of the work happens at home through play. Outside Ontario, I offer parent consultations (not OT) through Virtual Support.
Should I book OT or osteopathy?
If you’re not sure, book a free Right Fit Call. Many sessions blend both.
