My Mom & Baby Class Kit
The simple, affordable pieces I use in my Babies @ Play classes, plus what goes in the gift bag every mama gets at her first class.
What’s in my bag
A baby doll
A demo baby gives mamas a clear visual to follow for every movement and activity, while their own babies warm up to you. Any doll with a soft body and a firmer head, hands and feet works well. This is the one I use.
A muslin blanket
Keeps the studio blankets clean and spit-up free, and doubles as a prop for rolling and tummy time practice. Most mamas already have one in their diaper bag.
A Tibetan singing bowl
My most random, yet magical, piece of equipment. It calms fussy babies in seconds, and I use it to close every class.
My first-class gift bag
Every mama gets a small gift bag at her very first class. It makes her feel welcome right away, and she has the same simple props at home to keep playing between classes.
Pop tubes
Stretch, bend and pop: great for pulling, sound and cause and effect.
Bigger equipment
Nice to have as your classes grow, especially for older, more mobile babies in Levels 2 and 3.
A Pikler triangle
Climbing, pulling to stand and building confidence in movement.
My Babies @ Play class shopping list
All the class items above, plus a few extras, saved in one list in my Amazon storefront.
My book: Mothering From Within
A gentle companion for mamas who want to trust themselves again. A lovely one to share with the families in your classes.

Join 100+ therapists who are running their own classes with my done-for-you 6-week class series, demo videos of every song and activity, my virtual class recordings, templates and business tips.
